Tower Hamlets Mencap Society are leaving the Kirtland Centre, their home of 35 years, at the end of January. What better excuse to put on a lovely comedy party for 'em, ay?

There will be TWO MEN IN HATS, there will be A WOMAN DRESSED AS AN EGG, there will be JANUARY-DEFYING GOOD CHEER.

Proceeds, as ever, go to supporting those in the community with a learning disability. Tickets are only £8 (£10 on the door), drinks from just £2.50 for a Red Stripe and £3 for a spirit and mixer, and laughter is absolutely bloomin' free.

Full lineup TBC, but to include:

The Establishment

'Another much-needed chapter in our national legacy of lampooning the powers that be... You can imagine this going down very well indeed at the Palladium or the BBC.' ★★★★ – The Stage
'Enjoy the charming chutzpah of Dan Lees and Neil Frost... they don’t miss a beat.' ★★★★ – The Skinny
'One of the best shows I’ve seen this year.. top class.' ★★★★★ – The Mumble

Lucy Pearman

'Total old school fun... sweet and charming and uplifting.' ★★★★★ - The Good Review
'Like watching a live Pixar movie... It’s mad. It’s brilliant. It’s brave and I can’t think of anyone on the fringe doing anything like it.' - Funny Women

Hosted by resident idiots Loose Brie (★★★★ - The Mumble, Nominated for the First Minute Award at the Malcolm Hardee Awards, still a disappointment to their parents)
